Working on a business plan to start an ER business, I wanted to host a mini portable game at our town’s Farmers’ Market this season as market research (is there enough interest in this area to warrant opening my business?). Michelle @ Escape the Final Countdown was fantastic to work with! She spent over an hour just discussing business aspects. I purchased the Escape Your Destiny design and and Michelle was ready to send me the documents before I was even ready with my payment! It was well documented, easy to understand – she even included shopping suggestions for props (and linked to a discounted bundle at one supplier). In fact, I thought at first that he game was too simple, too easy. Turns out I was wrong (whew!). It was easy and fun to find, buy, and make the proper and decor for this design. During my testing and now having been live one day, it seems that one of the puzzles might be slightly too difficult for players to figure out in the quick pace I need for a faire (people arre solving the room in 11-17 minutes right now), but all I have to do is simplify the clue a little bit. I’m very pleased with this design, Michelle’s assistance, and the price.
